Home for Christmas

We are home for a busy Christmas break. Bridget loved Christmas this year, opening the gifts, playing with her new toys, and chasing around the Cuccia's dog, Jasmine.

Bridget wasn't here for this visit to see Breanne in LeRoy. Here is Deirdre with Emma Oyer.

14 months old today

Now that Bridget is over a year, I forget about the 17th of each month. Somehow I realized today was the 17th. (I think it's because the chicken and milk in my fridge had a sell by date of 12-17.) Well, Bridget is great! She's walking all over the place and really playing with things. Yesterday she was lining up her little people along the edge of the molding on the bottom of her crib. She spent about 15 minutes lining them up and talking to them. It was fun to watch. Presently, Bridget prefers mom to dad, and doesn't like to hear the word no. She also refuses to sit in the bathtub- that's our biggest struggle. Other than that- life is great!

Walking (The Good, the Bad, and the UGLY)

Bridget is walking on her own now. She still prefers to hang on to people and walls. Today she fell into the coffee table and cut her eye lid. Below is some footage of her new skill.

Happy Thanksgiving (A Little Late)

We were home in Buffalo for Thanksgiving. Here are lots of pictures of the week.
My mom wanted Bridget to see Santa at the Carousel Museum in North Tonawanda. We met Aunt Gail and Kacey there. Santa was on the Carousel, which we hopped on to ride. We had no idea exactly how fast and scary a carousel can be. Bridget was terrified and Matt had to jump off with her as soon as it started to slow down.

Of course we took lots of pictures of Bridget when we were home.

We had Monica's 5th Annual Benefit this year. Below is a picture of the girls on the committee: Beth Washburn, Kristin Madej, Betty Burgstahler, Liz Senese, Me, and Jennifer Farnham.
Here are some pix from Thanksgiving. We had 3 dinners- One on Wednesday night at Matt's parents' house. Then on Thursday- 1st at Matt's cousin's house- The Stanleys, then at my Aunt Linda's house.

Matt and Sue and 12,000 others ran the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Morning. Here's a picture afterwards when we were drinking beer in the convention center.
Here's Bridget in her new Uggs from Grandma Georger.
