Bridget and the boys and ballet

My friend from work, Katie, stopped by today with her son, Noah.  He's 3 months older and 3 pounds bigger than Thomas.



 
Here are some pictures from last week's ballet class, Bridget's last week of ballet until we get back here in February.  We mailed a letter to Santa at the rec center.  It said, "dear santa, I love you."

 

3 1/2 months

We went to the doctor for Thomas's 4 month check up, but we're a few weeks early.  He's 12 pounds 14 ounces (25%ile), 24 inches long (40%ile), and 15 3/4 head (15%ile).  He's happy, healthy and has stinky neck rolls to prove it.  Here's a video of Bridget and Thomas talking today.

Sunny playground day

 

 
 

I was in flip-flops and Bridget wore no jacket.  This snow has been here for a few weeks because the nights have been so cold.  Any snow that doesn't get the hot morning sun can last for months.  The rest melts immediately.  The sun and the snow are pretty funny around here.  Nothing like Buffalo.  

Santa's lap

Bridget actually sat on Santa's lap!  We've been talking about it all month and she did it!  We went to the local Ace Hardware.  Santa's hair is a little messed up, but the picture was free.  My favorite part was the Ace Hardware guy playing the guitar and singing Feliz Navidad.

Preschool Party

Bridget's Christmas party was today.  They performed a little song and skit that was based on Jan Brett's book, The Mitten.  It was really cute.  I had been asking Bridget what animal she was.  She knew that Julia was a fox and that Logan was a Jackrabbit, but she wasn't sure if she was a mole or a hedgehog.  As you can see, she was legitimately confused.

Charming and Sweet, and 3 months old

Thomas is 3 months old today and here's what he can do: smile, respond, bring his fists to his mouth, laugh, and sleep through the night.  He just starting laughing this week, and he's been sleeping through the night since he was 10 weeks old.  He is just the sweetest thing.

Cold Days, lazy morning

Today is a high of 11.  We're just going to hang out, play, and maybe get some Christmas things taken care of.

Making Gingerbread Houses

Bridget's friend from dance, Ava, and her sister, Cayden, and mom came over to make gingerbread houses.  They had a great time building, eating candy, and playing.  Bridget was covered in frosting.  Ava was neat and clean.  Thomas liked watching the girls.
