Tommy's hugs

I have to write it down before I lose it- Thomas's hugs are heaven.  I distinctly remember myself trying to capture moments in my memory when Bridget was little.  I also remember thinking to myself, I know I will never forget this moment.  Well, turns out that there were lots of moments that I was sure I would never forget, and all I know now is that I wanted to remember them.
As for today, every hug I get from Thomas is one of those moments; one of those, "I will never forget what this feels like," moments.  I now know that if I don't write it down I will forget it.  Thomas wraps his arms around my neck and hugs so tightly.  Then he tucks his arms inside of mine and lays his head on my shoulder.  He is the sweetest little boy, and I hope he hugs like this forever.

Tommy

Here are some videos of Thomas.  He's talking so much now- it's fun.  When he's on the changing table he says: eyes, mouth, ears, nose and points to those things.  He also loves his shoes, socks, pants, jackie (jacket),  and hat.  He now calls Bridget, GiGi.  It's the cutest thing.  He says, Hello, Goodbye.  And every guy in the family is DaDa.  Whenever he sees one of the grandmas, he's looking for DaDa!!

Bridget's thoughts on marriage

Bridget just announced that she's not going to marry her brother anymore. She's going to marry her school friend, Christopher, because he said she's kind and beautiful, and he said he'll marry her.

Vacation playdates

This Easter Break was spent in sunny, warm Buffalo.  Matt and I worked on improving our kitchen, and Bridget and Thomas had time to play with friends.

Tommy and I drove to Rochester to shop and have lunch with my friend from high school, Carla.  Here is Thomas and her son, Julian.

Bridget, Katey, Thomas, Grandma and I went to the zoo to see the new baby polar bear, Luna.  The lines rivaled Disney World- no joke.  It was insane.

Then we came home to dress up and play.
The vacation ended with a mani/ pedi date with Lena.  Yes, mommy still needs time to get herself a mani/ pedi.
