Aquarium and hanging with Bridget

We went to the aquarium today.  Bridget most enjoyed getting a Nemo tattoo.  She also liked the otters and sharks.  Here's her tattoo- she chose a purple/pink Nemo.

Here is Bridget feeding her dolls.  They are in the pink chairs, so she had to pull up her rocking chair to join them.

Pledge and Monkeys

Here are 2 videos from today.  Apparently, they say the pledge of allegiance at school.  The only way I figured it out is she was singing "with liberty and justice for all" over and over while she was on the potty yesterday.

Bills Game

One of  my student's parents offered us her tickets to the Bills- Broncos pre-season game.  The Bills looked pretty pathetic after the first drive.  Bridget stayed with Tom, Marybeth, Lian and Maddy.  She had fun baking with Play-doh and then Tom set up a movie in their driveway for the neighbors to enjoy.  Bridget loved it.  When Matt and I got back from the game, she didn't want to leave.  So we stayed and watched Toy Story 3 with the neighbors.  She leaned over to me and said, "Thank you for taking me to Lian's house, mom."  That was a big improvement from last weekend when she tried to escape from their yard because she "just wanted her mommy."

Funny moments

I thought I would get these down before I forgot them:

On our way back to Buffalo at the end of June we were in the Denver airport getting our items ready to put on the belt at security.  All around us people were taking off their shoes to go through security.  My mom and I weren't looking at Bridget for about 30 seconds.  When we turned to look at her she had her shoes off, shorts off, and panties off.  The entire security line was laughing hysterically, which is a refreshing sight to see.

When we got to Buffalo after 2 nights with both sets of grandparents and seeing relatives Bridget said, "I'm so happy mommy.  I love Buffalo.  I love all of my family."

Now that we're back in Denver, we've been discussing what Bridget should be for Halloween.  She is adamant that she be Winnie the Pooh.  The other day she said, "What will my baby brother be?"  I told her I thought he should be a pot of honey.  Bridget thought he should be Tiger.  We went back and forth for a while until she said, "Maybe we should ask my baby brother's mommy who he should be."  I then asked her who she thought his mommy was and she replied, "I don't know, maybe his grandma."  I then told her that I was baby brother's mommy and she could only reply with, "What?  HOW?"

Grandma Georger's visit

Grandma Georger has been with us for 2 weeks now, and leaves tomorrow.  We have gone to the pool, the mall, Babies R Us, World Market, and Ikea.  We also got the baby's room put together and hung out around the house.  We found this adorable outfit at Janie and Jack.
