Great Grandma and the quilt

Great Grandma is back from Florida!!!  I haven't seen her in a year and Thomas finally got to meet her today.  She made a fabulous quilt for Bridget- a paper doll quilt, where Bridget can change the clothes on the dolls.

Bridget got to march with Grandpa today in a parade.

First Haircut

 

Bridget had her first haircut this week, it only took us over 3 1/2 years, and we took only an inch off.  We are afraid to lose her wonderful curls.  So far, so good.

Swim Dates

Here are pictures from 2 recent swim dates: one with Megan and the other with Betty and Zach.  It's been wonderfully warm and humid and the water is perfect.

Bridget and her Princess Bike

Bridget is one lucky girl.  While her bike is in storage in Colorado, Grandma and Grandpa got her a bike and helmet for Niagara Falls.  She loves bike rides with Grandpa.

Funny Girl

2 am. Bridget's in our room, afraid of the dark.
Matt: "Bridget, listen to me. You're not afraid of the dark."
Bridget: "Yes, dad. This is what kids do. They are afraid of the dark."

9 months old and ready to crawl

 

Thomas is 9 months old and here are his stats:

He is 19 pounds 4 ounces, 27 inches long.  He is around the 20th percentile for head, weight, and height.  He is getting ready to crawl.  Right now he can pull himself and roll to get to where he needs to go.  Yesterday he started getting up on his knees.  He should be a full blown crawler soon.  He can clap on demand and wave.  He still babbles a lot and he's doing better with sleep.  He's been so sick with ear infections lately that sleep has been spotty, at best.  He still has 6 teeth and I can't tell if more are coming.  We love this little boy to pieces!
