Memorial Day Weekend

This weekend the weather has been beautiful, and for the first time in a while the 7 day forecast is looking more like Denver- all suns.  On Saturday we had some Honda neighbors over, yesterday we did some errands and today we went to a beautiful park down our street that I had never been to.

Our neighbors had a great motorcycle for Bridget to try out.  Glad it's at their house and not ours.

Back to the Farmers' Market

We went to the Farmer's Market today and then to the pool, which means summer is maybe coming.  It's been a wet couple of weeks with very little sun, which is odd because we live in the desert.  Can't wait for better weather and no more school.

Bridget got out her shopping cart last night, loaded it with her little people and lined them up on the table for dinner.  When I wasn't looking she was telling them to eat their food.

Potty Training News

It has been 1 week of potty training with Bridget.  Last weekend we tried panties and ultimately succeeded with a bare bottom.  She went to school on Monday with lots of changes of clothes and extra panties.  She had a great week- very few accidents, and has been peeing and pooping on the potty with ease.  Then Friday night arrived.  We went to dinner with grandma and grandpa.  I brought 1 extra pair of pants and panties thinking that would be more than enough.  To briefly sum up the evening: Bridget wet herself multiple times, requested many trips to the potty, freaked out whenever she looked at the pot, peed on me and ended the night going home without anything on her bottom.  It's been a very busy weekend with the grandparents here.  We have opted for pull-ups during our outings.  We also bring her potty seat.  She refuses to pee in her diaper and freaks out in every public restroom.  After some convincing, she did pee at the cousin's house today- so I guess that's a success.

Grandma and Grandpa Georger's Visit

Grandma and Grandpa Georger arrived here on Thursday night.  Bridget went shopping with them on Friday.  On Saturday we drove down to Colorado Springs to show them Pike's Peak and The Garden of the Gods.

 There were lots of rock climbers out this weekend.  Bridget wanted to give it a try.

 Today we drove north to visit Matt's cousins.  Here is Bridget playing with Sarah at brunch.

 After brunch we went back to the Sudol's house.  They have a little pond in their backyard, a beautiful home, and lovely landscaping.
