It has been 1 week of potty training with Bridget. Last weekend we tried panties and ultimately succeeded with a bare bottom. She went to school on Monday with lots of changes of clothes and extra panties. She had a great week- very few accidents, and has been peeing and pooping on the potty with ease. Then Friday night arrived. We went to dinner with grandma and grandpa. I brought 1 extra pair of pants and panties thinking that would be more than enough. To briefly sum up the evening: Bridget wet herself multiple times, requested many trips to the potty, freaked out whenever she looked at the pot, peed on me and ended the night going home without anything on her bottom. It's been a very busy weekend with the grandparents here. We have opted for pull-ups during our outings. We also bring her potty seat. She refuses to pee in her diaper and freaks out in every public restroom. After some convincing, she did pee at the cousin's house today- so I guess that's a success.
