The parade at school was a huge success! Bridget's teachers had no problem getting her costume on. I was nervous that she would want to go home as soon as I got there, but there was so much commotion that she took me over to the books in her classroom and started reading with me. I held her hand during the parade. Then we sat down and watched the other classes go by. It was adorable!

Bina for Halloween?
So, we've been planning on Bridget being Angelina Ballerina for Halloween. She's been talking about the ballerina tutu and shoes for months. Grandma Georger came for her birthday and bought her the leotard, tights, and shoes. I made her the tutu, and we bought some mouse ears for her. Last week she kept on asking when I was going to make the tutu. I made it on Saturday, she tried it on, and the next day I thought we would try on the whole outfit- not so good.
She really didn't like putting the tights on, so in the video, you only see the leotard, tutu, and ears. We've been telling her that we should just give the outfit to someone at her daycare, and she's fine with that. I'll say, "Bridget, should we give the tutu to Hannah?" She says, "Yes." Anyways, Friday is the parade at school. Her teacher requested that I send her to school in her normal clothes and they'll put her in her outfit after her nap. I told her I'm fine with that. We'll see if they can get her to wear her costume.

Our 2 year old

Bridget's 2 year check up was this week. She weighs 27 pounds 8 ounces/ 65%ile. She is in the 75%ile for height and 40%ile for head. She got 3 shots and was very afraid of the doctor and nurses. Some impressive language moments: a few weeks ago she was eating grapes and traced her finger in the air in the shape of a circle and said, "cirtcle". She loves her new dolls, and the other night she was crying for them. When I brought the naked dolls to her crib she said, "diapers". So I brought their diapers, and then she said, "clothes". She's a master at delaying bedtime! She also identifies the Sesame Street characters on her diapers and now only wants Grover diapers. I think she realized that he is the least represented character in Pampers. She says Nana and Baba for Matt's parents and loves talking about football and baseball. The most amazing piece of a 2 year old is realizing when I'm talking to her about ANYTHING, she understands and then contributes something to the conversation. Below are some pictures of her week with Grandma and Grandpa Georger.
Waiting for the doctor.
We met Matt's cousins at DU. Bridget Cannon is sitting on Zachary Cannon's lap. To the left is Kyle and the right is Sara.

Bridget is 2!
Today was Bridget's 2nd birthday. We celebrated with pizza, ice cream cake, and presents. Elmo balloons, plates, and party blowers decorated our party, although Bridget would've preferred Grover. Bridget opened lots of presents and had a great day.

Vail and my new torture chair
Grandma and Grandpa Georger are here for Bridget's Birthday. Today we went to Vail- it was a gorgeous, sunny, fall day. Bridget was dreamy. The last picture was of my chiropractor visit on Thursday- the "2 way chair", soooo much better than my last treatment.

Torture Chair
So, I'm trying to get my neck fixed. I've been going to the chiropractor 3 days a week to sit in this traction chair that is absolutely awful. Today it was so bad I started crying, so the doctor said he is going to consider a different form of traction for me. This is the worst chair in the office, so my new plan can only get better from here.

Pumpkin Patch
We drove up to Broomfield today to go to a pumpkin patch. It is finally feeling really cold here- from high 80's a week ago to high 50's today. Bridget enjoyed picking out pumpkins, seeing the horses, and running around. After we went to a mall nearby and ran into my friend from Princeton, Joyce. Small world.

Deirdre in Denver
Deirdre visited last weekend. We had a lot of fun. On Friday night we had appetizers and dinner at 2 great restaurants in Denver. On Saturday we went to Boulder for the day. The Doerrs (Deirdre's family) came over for dinner on Saturday night, and on Sunday Deirdre and I went to the Broncos game. After that we had one more meal with the Doerrs. Great weekend!
