This Christmas we hosted the Helwigs and the Georgers at our house on the 25th. The Peri Christmas celebration happened on the 29th at my parent's house. Grandma Peri was thrilled with her Christmas present: many trips to the shrine with various grandchildren.
Our break began with many issues. I hit my head at work and got a mild concussion, our basement flooded, and Tommy was sick. Tommy and I stayed home on Christmas Eve as he had a fever of 102. It took him the entire vacation to recover from his cold. Now that he's on the mend, it's back to school, back to work, and back outside into the bitter bitter cold temps (high of 10 tomorrow).
